•     Dr. Bid is a prominent leader in Physiotherapy, with over 28 years of experience in the field. Since joining this institute in August, 2002, he has played a pivotal role in advancing education and research initiatives.

Education Journey:

• Dr. Bid received his BPT from National Institute for the Orthopedically Handicapped (Calcutta University) in February 1995
• He received his Master of Physiotherapy (Orthopedics) from M.G. University, Kottayam in December, 2001.
•           He obtained his Ph.D. from RK University in December 2017.
•       He has done PG Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy from Alagappa University, Karaikudi, Tamilnadu in November 1997.
•   Also, he has done PG Diploma in Health Sciences (Acupuncture) from PP Savani University in December 2022.
•          Certificate Course in SPSS of VNSG University in 2012.
•        Fellowship in Osteopathy and Manipulative Therapy, 2021

Research Project/Guidance:

• As a research mentor, Dr. Bid provides insightful guidance that fosters critical thinking and drives innovation in the field of Physiotherapy.
• He has served as a research guide for Bachelor of Physiotherapy students during their internship projects since the inception of this college.
• Since 2007, he has been a PG guide for the Master of Physiotherapy program, with a focus on Musculoskeletal Sciences.
• In 2020, he was recognized as a Ph.D. supervisor at VNSGU, where he guides doctoral candidates in Physiotherapy under the faculty of Medicine.
