The Sarvajanik college of Physiotherapy is a proud and driven college providing world class education, celebrating the fact that each student is different, as a person and as a learner. Here people are valued and can fulfill their potential both as teachers and students. We offer both graduate and postgraduate courses in physiotherapy providing supportive environment to students and nurture them by rendering spontaneous and interesting knowledge. It has been my privilege to serve this wonderful organization since 2010—first as assistant professor, and as principal since 2021. I extend my heartiest welcome to all who are visiting the portals of our esteemed college.

The Sarvajanik College of Physiotherapy is the oldest Physiotherapy teaching and research institute in South Gujarat region established in 2001 as well as the first self-financed college to start master’s programme in 2012. Our strength lies in a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty supplemented by visiting faculty from various health sectors. We are ably supported by equally dedicated office staff. For aspiring researchers and post graduate students we have experienced faculty with Ph.D degree, well stacked library and advanced equipment. Our students have excelled in academics and are regularly among the top rankers in university. Whether it is winning best paper awards in Conferences or holding Workshops with International Faculty, laurels and awards are being showered upon us from all quarters. Our students have also been selected to present scientific papers at national and international levels. Apart from this, our students have also won numerous awards in extracurricular and sports activities.

Besides these academic activities, we run multiple physiotherapy OPDs at minimal rates to serve the weaker sections of society. We also provide clinical experience to our students in various hospitals. We also hold physiotherapy camps in the rural areas serving the poor. This fulfills the vision of our Founder Late Mr. M. M. Amla Sir to work towards the welfare of mankind. Our present secretary with his dynamic personality, enthusiasm and encouragement has added a thrust to research and the college is well on the way to making its mark as a world-class institution of learning, research and quality patient care.
