Experience/expertise:

• ThangamaniramalingamAlagappan is working currently as a faculty teaching psychology and physiotherapy at sarvajanikcollege of physiotherapy,Surat,Gujarat, India.
• He has published more than 30 original research articles as author &co- author   in various national and international journals including Elsevier , PJIAP, and Indian journal of orthopaedics and published 3 books including onerecently titled“Essentials of research methodology for all physiotherapy and allied health sciences students”(November,2018).
• He was a part of a team   who translated 250 Cochrane plain language summaries in the Tamil language and Pedro home page in the Tamil language.
• He has worked as a methodologistin the Cross cultural adaptation and psychometric validation of instruments like Fear avoidance belief questionnaire, Tampa Scale of kinesiophobia, Central sensitisation inventory, and Neck pain and disability scale in Gujarati language and DASH in Tamil language.
• Recently he received a distinguished service award from Indian association of physiotherapist (March,2018), New Delhi.
